I am English. I currently live in Russia, and have held Russian citizenship since in 2001.

I have long accepted that what used to be thought of as a standard career is suboptimal in my case, and have worked independently of mainstream structures since around 2010.

Having a degree in a modern language and extensive experience of learning languages—as well as being CELTA certified—I offer structured English conversation online to adult learners at Intermediate level and above.

I offer services also as a consultant on non-language subjects in English and Russian.

On the intellectual front, I am compiling and editing a commentary and series of glossaries in English, Russian, and French to the works of key expositors of the sophia perennis¹ beginning with those of René Guénon at hierarchia.com. I also publish occasionally on Substack.
